The Royal Highland Show 2024

We were absolutely delighted to be involved in this year's Royal Highland Show in partnership with Saltire Hospitality, who cut thousands of John Gilmour Butchers steaks for their member's area.

We also had the pleasure of attending the breakfast event by Quality Meat Scotland, where we heard First Minister John Swinney's opening speech. It was an honour to attend and hear the First Minister discuss the future of Scottish agriculture, sustainability, and much more.

The Royal Highland Show is the flagship event of Scottish charity the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland.

The 4 day event, first held in 1822, is the pinnacle of the agricultural calendar.

Each year over 800 trade exhibitors, over 2,000 livestock competitors entering into 900+ competitions (with over 4000 animals) and tens of thousands of visitors come to the Royal Highland Show to experience the best of farming, food and rural life.

The Show offers a great day out for all the family, with something for everyone to enjoy. Showcasing the finest displays of Scotland’s livestock, machinery and technical innovation, produce, equine displays, countryside pursuits and educational workshops.
